** Not much new progress. I've been finishing some details on the 68 trying to get it ready for a leg or two of the 2010 Power Tour and today I'm heading to Va Bch for a week to deliver this 67 Corvette Convertible for a buddy of mine. Wouldn't this make a nice garage mate for the Burb????!!!!! If I only had an extra $35K............. |
Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
Rob ,
what legs of the power tour are you planning on making ? |

**** Small progress, but progress none the less. I've been focusing on the 68 trying to get it ready for the last leg of the PowerTour, but I did get my upper and lower hoses figured out. I just need to work on the radiator mounts and then the cooling system will be done. I picked up some adapters from Docs Blocks for the a/c also. Looks like they will have to be modified slightly to make them work, but what else is new..... R/ |
Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
Looking great, Rob !! I'll be in Mobile for Power Tour and will keep an eye out for the '68. You plan on being in the downtown area Friday evening ??

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
WOW man that thing gets better every time i see it
|
Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
Your using the "stick on" lower trim right? What about the upper trim? If I remember right it is all Mar-K?
Wow... how about a few questions. :D |

Rob that thing is looking amazing!!!
Good quality on the trim? I need to pick up a set of wood trim in the future (not for my '69) and am looking for a nice set. |
Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
lovin' the roof rack...
|
Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
WOW! Looks great! Amazing attention to detail Rob.
|
Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
That chrome looks great! I think it's really the only way to go with a burb or a long truck. It's really surprising to me how many people don't like the upper and lower trim. This is a first class build. Wish I had the bucks to go as far as you have!
|
Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
Looks GREAT!! Is it done yet?
|

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
Between all your vehicles, You should have everything figured out for mine and tested. What gauges are those? Do they come with all the correct sensors for the LS engine. Did you set them up yourself in the cluster or preinstalled? Looking real nice. The Mar-K trim looks real good, I might have to run over there one of these days.
|
Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
those gauges are really nice!
