Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.

Great color photos 60-66! The contrast in styling between the '61 Chevy and '61 Ford is worth noting. Chevy went into the new styling series (1960) with left over styling hues from the late 50's ( wrap around windshield, bulky hood and dual headlights. Ford went into the new styling series with a more modern approach, smooth aerodynamic hood, forward rake windshield with single headlights. The '61 Ford front end has many similarities to the '64-66 Chevy front end. On the '59 forestry truck, note the super rare 6 lug version of the 17.5" wheels.

I like that one. The step-van motor home is cool, and also the pickup's environmental/ecological irresponsibility going entirely unnoticed. What an era.
Boy, those were the days. Lol.

Freemont - I remember seeing Don Garlits in the 70's going 234.98 MPH in the quarter. Thought I'd never see anyone go faster in my life time.

Many of the ones I come across pop up on different '60-66 Facebook groups, so I just save the pic & share here.
