Top notch welding, you know it's good when you can't see the patch, you definitely picked the right guys for the job.

Hey!! I was either at work or in the garage working on the chassis. And a man has to sleep at some point! I certainly can't complain about a lack of updates from you all, thanks for that!

They're doing great work, I feel fortunate to have found these folks. This cab will be BETTER than new when I pick it up next week. :)

You're not kidding about the great work! Those guys have some killer metal working skills. I really like the way they did the filler patch. That would make it so much easier to do hammer and dolly work after welding. :metal:

It's awesome; I get updates every day and sometimes twice a day. DeWayne told me be for I took it up there that I wouldn't be able to tell anything was ever replaced when he was done, but I think that was a fib. This cab is going to be WAY better than factory and it will be very apparent to anyone who knows these trucks! While I wasn't prepared for and never intended to do any rust repair or paint work on this truck, DeWayne has made it well worth the time, effort and money. I will have an extremely solid body to build on when he is done.

Got the frame back to a roller, it still needs some work but it will do to make the trip to Tennessee to get the sheet metal. Snapped a few pics while it was outside this afternoon. I'd put a snappy caption for each pic but each one is self explanatory so let's just get to it. ;)

You need a different roller chassis to haul your cab on!

Thanks guys but the folks at Porterbuilt Fabrication, Billet Specialties, CPP, and Boyd Welding get the credit for the great looking parts... I just bolted them together. :)

The powdercoating on that frame looks so smooth, the 2nd pic (looking up to the sky) makes the passenger side of the frame look like tinted glass... like there's sky behind it, not a reflection... nice and flat and shiny! Looks great!
