You got the same lites I got 60rat. How do you like them? One halo and the center dot burned out on mine already. I like them dual halo ones though, look nice especially above my LED blinker lights and LED corners. Look nice on a color matched grille too. A pain to adjust though. I'll get new pics posted up of my truck someday soon, I've got to take some nice like pro-style pictures for Iron Bull's website. If the rain lets that happen.

Hello, I'm new here and just thought I'd post a couple of pics of my newest Chevies. I just sold my 1991 F350 Crew Cab Dually (not soon enough) and was in need of new wheels. I bought the black one last monday, and the blue one on thursday. I plan on using the plow and other misc. parts on the black one because the frame on "Blue" is very rusty.

Here's some updated pics of my DD, with all the little things done to it now...

http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...9/P1020472.jpg

http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...9/P1020503.jpg

http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...9/P1020502.jpg

In the background of the driver's side shot you can see my dad's Dodge, my 72 longbox, my 69 pickup box trailer with my 71 cab, and assorted 67-72 parts, and the 83 Mustang which I am buying from my brother. Yes, I know, it's a Ford, but it's got a helluva motor, and is more than worth $1500. That is, if I don't kill myself rolling 40 times at 160-170 mph.

Short list of mods: body matched grille, mirrors, wiper arms, door handles. New LED tails, LED 3rd tail, LED corner bulbs, LED blinkers. Lots of LEDs, needless to say, my stock blinker relay didn't have a chance to think about normal voltage, hyper blinking went more hyper than a 4 year old loaded up on a 12 pack of mountain dew in a sugar factory. Also, dual halo projector style headlights (one halo and a center dot already burned out. Cheap pieces of...) Oh, and in case you didn't notice, the one of a kind custom front bumper. Iron Bull Bumpers is producing them now for 88-98's, and not like it's really special or anything, but I got the first one, and only one with the grille guard like that.

Things I still got/want to do: redo exhaust, tips are rotting out; get gauges, still aint done that, any suggestions on what to get gauges for? Trans temp is obvious, but what else for a gasser? Need to redo bottom parts of decals, buff paint, regear, lock the rear end up, selectable locker maybe. Still need 5" lights and winch for bumper; and, knowing my truck, whatever else down the road decides to break. Anyways, that's just my DD, and my better half. My worse half is at work, just don't tell her I said that ;)

hey 69-350, i'm lovin them. i decided not to attempt to adjust them. they are alright for the time being. where'd you get the L.E.D. turn signals?? the other halos that i was lookin at on e-gay were the single rectangular single halos and i didn't like those.

They are 98 Tahoe seats recovered without the headrests.

I might have posted some pics of my Hoe last fall when I got it but here it is again. Its a 99 4x2 Tahoe with the Z56 Police Package. It only had 78,000 miles when I bought it in California in October 2008. What I really love about this Hoe is that although its a full police package with all the right suspension and power train its also the Silverado Package with the buckets, console, etc. and it even has rear A/C. It was a Fire Dept Batallion Chiefs ride so I guess that is why it was kept so nice and not abused like most Z56's are.

After buying it from Ebay we flew to San Francisco, picked it up, drove around for a couple of days ( see the pic of me driving down Russian Hill ,Lombard Street ) and drove her home 1800 miles without a hiccup.

Anyone else have one of these?

Iron Bull Bumpers make them. Just started for 88-98's, that's the oldest generation they make them for, except 70-something Fords. Fairly heavy duty bumper, it'll stop the occasional deer or car that comes across my path, with my only fear being if I slam into something heavy and fast enough (think big car, pickup) I might tweak the frame. I definitively wouldn't worry about the bumper though. And yeah, it's inching towards SAS time. One day, maybe. I'd love to have the time, money, equipment, and resources to just do an 8.1L or 6.6L, Allison, NP205, D60, 14BFF and get it all done. I think a simple SAS would be a better, simpler plan though. I've worked on my trucks enough to know how things go, and how much pain they'll bring to the rear end.

I think that must be pretty rare because all the ones I've ever seen are low option trucks with vinyl seats and such. Yours is super slick and looks like it has been well maintained. Do the spots still work?

Opted to not post my 89 3500 Dually or my 88 V30 SRW 4WD as they are both 1 tons and the Square bodystyle and this thread seemed to be more about the rounded years.

Nice truck, I bet she's a blast to drive. I like how she looks stock but with a monster under the hood! The only thing that I would personally add/change is put the valance under the bumper. Other than that :metal:

The spots were installed at the factory code 7x7 on the spid label and they still work. What you said is exactly why I wanted this truck, full police package with all the creature comforts and low mileage which you usually do not see with police units. The console, roof rack and keyless were missing when I bought it as they removed them to put in the emergency equipment then sold them at auction. I found a console on Ebay which I've installed and a roof rack at a wrecker which I've yet to install and I have keyless now. I found out city the Hoe came from and contacted the fleet manager and he sent me the service records for this Hoe.

I sure like to find out how many of these were built with the Z56 pacakge.

I got some new wheels on the work truck.

http://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m...r/PIC-0669.jpg

P285/70R18 Goodyear MTR kevlar tires. These are just a wisker over 35 inches. I found some craigslist special 18x10 wheels. I managed to get them on the truck without a lift. I had to do a little trimming of the bumper and the inside rear of the front fender. It had plenty of room in the back. I also threw on some new driving lights, $20 craigslist find. The lights were new.

http://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m...r/P7080343.jpg

This is how she came home 6 years ago for $900. The tranny was GONE. Been a good old truck. Hopefully, once my malibu is going, it can get some much needed attention to the body.
