Re: Pro Street Trucks/Cars pics!!! im in love with the fatty tires!!
Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires are a new spin on the famous Mickey Thompson Sportsman tire, with a unique flamed tread design and radial technology.
They are the biggest high performance street-legal radial tires available and are designed for use on hot rods, T-buckets, street rods, and musclecars. These super-wide rear tires are also perfect for vehicles that have shortened rear-ends and tubbed fenderwells to accommodate then. Matching front skinny tires will complement the look of your vehicle. Rear tire diameters are available from 26 in. to 33 in. http://static.summitracing.com/globa...mtt-6627_s.jpg The Sportsman S/R radial tires feature the following: * Unique tread design for enhanced appearance * Polyester/fiberglass radial construction for a smooth, comfortable ride * Rim flange protection protects wheels * Directional tread pattern designed for improved wet traction * Fits 15 in., 18 in., and 20 in. rim diameters http://www.summitracing.com/search/p...ompson%20Tires http://www.jegs.com/p/Mickey-Thompso...58838/10002/-1 These Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro rear tires come in the same giant economy sizes as the standard Sportsman's, but they have a drag racing compound for better traction and a 2-ply wrinkle wall carcass for better suspension reaction. They are designed for hot rods, t-buckets and muscle cars that have shortened rear ends and tubbed fender wells. They're DOT-approved, too--but just barely. A two-ply sidewall wrinkles like a drag slick, while still providing a street legal tread design. Mickey Thompson ultra soft compound insures plenty of off-the-line bite. Inner tubes recommended. http://static.summitracing.com/globa...-6565_cp_s.jpg http://www.summitracing.com/search/p...on%20Sportsman http://www.jegs.com/p/Mickey-Thompso...55803/10002/-1 |

Re: Pro Street Trucks/Cars pics!!! im in love with the fatty tires!!
Hello all!I am new to this site and have been looking for weeks for a post on what is the biggest wheel and tire combo you can fit under a 72 swb fleet side c10. I want to put 14 inch wide rims with 10 inch backspace and M/T sportsman 31x16.5-15 tires under my ride. I do not want to do any frame modifications other that coil overs if i have to.Can anyone that has this setup post some pics and let me know what setup would be easiest for the widest wheel and tire combo, As I am ready to buy new shoes for my baby but I don't want to end up having a couple of expensive sets of paper weights. Thanks guys
