Yeah over the internet etc, but not locally, some people told me like autozone etc could get some but they just laughed when I asked them for some that big..

i am thinking of makeing me some or buying some from CPP they don't recommmend 2'' blocks with 15'' wheel but i might anyways

Leme know where you find U bolts if you decide to make some, Ive got the blocks made but dont have a drill bit that big, or any u bolts YET

Well, Ive got my flywheel on, figured out 1 hole is just a hole, no threads, I thought i lost a bolt for awhile...
now im trying to figure out which way my pilot bushing goes in, and its in the freezer for easier installation.... HOPEFULLY my motor will be sitting in the truck tomorow!! |

WAHOO its in the truck 1 bolt in the motor mount and I ran outta time..(gotta go school shopping :smoke: )
But when I get back im gettin' to it!!! Hookin everything up etc etc etc HOPEFULLY tomorow I'll have it running? edit i chipped the paint off the booster, DANG gotta touch that one up now..oh well hindsight 20/20 |

not much time, I get to work off and on got my motor mounts hooked up PITA BIG TIME and got my gas line hooked up, all for now may work some tonite im off to the gf's nieces bday... :mm: |

Im selling my old motor tomorow hopefully... Anyone have any diagrams how the clutch linkage etc goes back? Do I need a spacer between carb/intake (performer rpm) I had trouble with it 'boiling' 1 time last summer, got gas in oil dont wanna do that again.. |

Ok: Startin' to work at a farm down the road...
Picked up new belts short waterpupm (cracked my new long one, im converting to 6772 pulley alt. setup) hoses brakeline ps fluid antifreeze t stat stainless carb bolts Got alot of it installed imma try to wrap up my engine ready to start, I go back wednesday...i guess its gonna be every day |

I'm sure you've already said it but what are you using in your engine? Cam, heads, etc. Did you just buy a rebuild kit or what?

Worked on truck from 9-830 today in 100* weather im WOOPED and i gotta get up 730 and go help farmer (woo more truck parts)! Everything looks done but its not..I gotta seal some connections and buy some stuff heres what i need:
air filter (saw a edelbrock open air filter at parts store, should I save my pennies for something else? Or buy another stock filter?... prop. valve, (cant seem to reach tim christian!!!! darn i need it fast) brake fluid shift bushings (tim christian) Power steering belt -guys at the parts store gave me a really long one (AC maybe) inner fenders.. 350 .30 over all new bearings balanced blueprinted, thumper cam by comp cams (ive heard you wanna go xe268 with this setup, I didnt pick the cam tho) summit vortec heads (by dart) hypertuetic keith black pistons flat tops 9.3-1 compression I gotta run pump gas 93 octane No, my rebuild guy got it all together. |
