I gotta ask. Are you able to re-use the stock bell housing & shift fork with the new Tremec trans?

Everything bolted up just fine. :)

Lots of wind here in Central Point. No damage at my place.
I had some small branches from the neighbors trees in my yard but no biggy.
The 'Burb and my dads 70 C10 were nestled safely in the garage. The Nova is tucked away in Klamath Falls for now.

Thanks Randy! If all goes right this engine should be purring later on this year. Gonna try and get the cab done at least before I worry about firing the engine. :chevy:

Thanks for the link TJ. We bought one of those radiators, without the fan and shroud. They look good and hopefully will keep a truck with Vintage Air cool.

Happy Memorial Day guys!

Had the day off of work and decided it was time to get moving on the 66 for a change!

This evening I got the cab Completely stripped down and ready to be sand blasted. :metal: :bann:

Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of the finished result, but I did snap these while working. :mm: Check comes this week so I'm a start packing up on sanding supplies and getting some primer and paint coming this way and hopefully within a few weeks I'll be laying down paint! Lotta cleaning and metal patching to do so we'll see. But when I get on a roll it's hard to stop. haha Later guys! :chevy:

I wish brotha! lol Lotta clean up to do, and I'm a bit picky on making the paint come out so I'm a take my time on this. Going with a two tone scheme and metallic so it's gotta be done carefully. Super excited though! :metal:

Hey guys!

So Harbor Freight is having their big fourth o July sale. So I wizzed out there yesterday evening after work and purchased a nice portable garage to serve as a paint booth and sand blasting booth. :metal:

Got most of it together early this morning. Still have to put the back covering on and then the front roll up door. Also gonna build a floor, and a rolling stand for the cab so I can move it around with ease. Got some nice off road swivel tires for that. Also picked up 4 50 pound bags of number 30 sand. Anyhow! Been a fun weekend so far! Sand blasting is coming up soon! See ya! :chevy:

Thanks guyz! Hoping to get to work on that rolling stand for the cab today. Really liking the tent...more shade and it'll keep the pine needles and crap off the cab. haha :chevy:

Well I have been blasting away on this cab. The underneath is done and now I am onto the floor boards. Taking a break tonight as I am exhausted. lol 2nd picture isn't that great because I didn't feel like rolling the cab...it's a bit of a chore even with the off road rolling stand. :chevy:

Thanks guyz! :metal:

Lotta rust repair to do, but I'm gonna blast the floor board and do the repair and then get the bottom primed as it is starting to surface rust. Got the epoxy order from Eastwood on Monday, but as slow and lazy as their being it looks like I won't see primer until next week. :waah: Oh well, plenty of blasting to do anyway. :chevy:
