 I bagged a few of those wild turkeys last weekend! : ) Don't think the brakes are gonna be done this weekend though. I pulled the brake lines from the rear to the front and decided to reroute them on the frame and paint them black also. Once again, another set back due to details.

Lookin really sweeeet!! :metal:

I hadnt been on here in a while when school started cuz that kinda got in the way of my build but I got back into it and I'm making some more progress.

Do you think you'll be able to make it out to nifty fiftees before it stops for this year? you're soooooo close! Regardless, I still need to come by and take look sometime once life calms down a little.

Thanks VA!

For all of you who are wanting to see how a 88-91 lowback bucket looks in our trucks, and how much room you have to the steering wheel also. Lots of room everywhere. Still have room for the blazer console I will be running.

Nice! I forgot if you mentioned it, but what are your plans for the seats?

I am doing the whole interior in a light tan ultra leather. Steering wheel is the wrap kind so it will match everything too. The seats are going to be built up a little on the sides for a more snug fit.

Dude, if I could get this brake issue figured out I could post a maiden voyage video. I can't wait for this thing to be at least driveable.

Wish that was the case, but I have a few more issues to work out. I think the actual color will be a little darker than what I painted. The ultra leather has a deeper tone to it also so it will not look almond when it's done.

Found the brake problem......bad master cylinder. I bought a cheap one and installed it and got brakes right away. The trans needs some more fluid but seems to shift into reverse and drive just fine. Pulled it out under it's own power today!!!!:metal:

Thanks! Me too. Now I have to run some vacuum lines and top off the trans tomorrow. If it seems to do ok I may take it down the block.

Thanks sourkraut!! Did a quick vid to show that I have to give it alot of gas just to get it going, I guess that the trans is not filled up yet so I hope there are no issues.

Thanks Kev!! Taking it to Niftee 50ees this weekend (weather permitting) and let people check it out for the first time at a big show. You should try to make the pilgrimage to the Northside of town!!!!

You were right...just not really "driving" it. Can't wait to get the trans correct so when I push the gas it goes!!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

Have you checked both the fluid level and also the kickdown cable adjustment? Don't think it is the cable...but you never know until you rule out all the possibilities...

...was the torque converter full of fluid when you bolted it up?
