Short bed GMC Highlander add says 1971 but it is a 72. Very rare truck.
Been rode hard yet would be a quality truck to restore to original condition as I've never seen another one like it. I will add pics to the highlander plaid truck thread. I can tell you the price is very negotiable. Feel free to pm me for any more questions if anyone is seriously interested so I don't have to buy it.

Now this is very interesting. I was stumped by the exterior of the door looking bone stock original (in the somewhat limited single exterior picture) and having that color change on the inside. I just assumed it was an old old door swap and perhaps the exterior was painted a long long time ago. But now that you mention that about your 68, I'm very curious. I had to go look yours up, and although it doesn't seem as pronounced of a difference (I never noticed it the first time I looked), it sure is a similar setup. Hmm. Now, I'm dying to see the inside of the passenger door on this one...
