Can't say that I've ever had a Hardies Burger. They wife and I went to Costco last week then drove right across the road to In-N-Out Burger, we hadn't eaten at one in probably 3 years or so. The wife and I was either awfully hungry or those burgers were pretty special, as the whole meal was delicious and only $23 for both of us.
My sister-n-law lives in Nashville and say's they are getting a In-N-Out...looks like they are migrating eastward!

I believe Hardies and Carls Jr are the same joints if you have one of those. Nothing special really. They all taste about the same.

Me: burger all right?
my buddy: well, it'll make a turd
me: well okay

We had a Hardies that turned into a Carl's Jr around 20 years ago in town and the next town over had an In-N-Out inside of a Conoco station but they pulled out about the same time.

Plowed about 5" of new snow this afternoon. Had to wait for the snow plow to go by because they always plow the end of the driveway shut.

Nice work! Those engineer style vices can be real handy.

My other project wasn't nearly as cool. Spent yesterday tearing into the washer/dryer to solve the numerous squeaks and other noises it has been making as of late. Solved the noises and thoroughly fileted my hands on all the sharp parts.

After a couple of days of heavy wind and rain today was pretty nice and supposed to be nice for a few more days. They are having a Soap Box Derby event in the next town north (Oakdale) this weekend and the Faros Car Club will be in attendance to cheer them on.
So, I rolled Cheryl Ann out of Hibernation today and cleaned her up for the races tomorrow. I'll get a few pics of the kids and their cars and share them.

Helped Dad with fixing a shelf in our one cabinet, boy was that great to hear come down a 2AM. Also helped install a different style light socket in the basement, this one has a pull cord and a plug for a cord to be plugged in. Everything else was just little keeping busy things.

Was in Missouri last week, doing some repairs on the vacation home. It was colder there than it was in Idaho. I didn't get as much done as I had hoped.

It started out in the teens but rose to about 33 changed from snow to freezing rain then just rain for a while . But the temps dropped to the high teens and it’s suppose to stay there for the rest of the week

Serviced our 13kW Generac this morning. Well, not much of a service, just oil & filter change. Battery & air filter checked OK.

Unfortunately the navigation buttons on the display panel aren't working, so I don't know how many total hours are on it. Two years ago it was showing 79 hours.

Ran into town for those "essential" food items we always buy before a weather event moves in. Shelves were thin but I managed to get that loaf of bread, eggs, and milk though. ;)

Mine is due also for its annual service but I'm waiting for a little more spring like temps. The almonds are blooming so spring has sprung which means we soon go to work around the place servicing, cleaning and mucking.

Still chilly here in west central MN at 15 degrees today but next week in the 40's. Sadly we are going see folks in shorts next week with really white legs. LOL.

It's 65 and sunny here today, but we do have a slight wind chill. Supposed to be 69 and sunny this weekend. The weather is the only good thing about Kalifornia. :gmc2:

In the winter of 77-78, I worked at a "Big Star" grocery in Lone Oak, Ky as a carryout. It happened that winter, actually, both winters, to be brutally cold and snowy. Several of us stayed in town for a stretch of days with one of our co-workers due to deep snow on the roads. It never ceased to amaze me how those 3 items were the 1st to go. We had a running joke that everybody was making egg and milk sandwiches. Bagged candy, popcorn and ice cream were always next to run low on the shelves.
