I am seeing some really fine rides here. but few say how much and how it was dropped. Of course w so many pages I could have easily missed yours. I'd like to see a side pic of a 63-66 long bed dropped 4" in back ,3"(maybe more) in front w spring drop only if anyone has done it. Later knowing me I will go to drop spindles as well but for now the budget calls for springs + I REALLY do not want to get into flip kits or C-notching the chassis. Anyone?

You can use the years 73 up headers. I have Hedman Elites for mine. You will have to trim the right side frame a bit maybe and you can't use the stock motor mounts that came with the truck.

http://www.truckandcarshop.com/trucks60_72/t60_097.html Bottom of the page, middle column. The V8 converson mounts. They clear the headers for the big blocks. Also, if you can use the later mounts which might be cheaper to get.
