I've already put my 65 on this page but I just put first gen Monte Carlo springs
in the rear because I cut the stock ones way too much and couldn't bolt them
to the trailing arms giving a harsh ride...great ride now!!! I am going to install 3 inch blocks tomorrow because it kicked my rear end up a bit. Gotta get lower!!!

Attachment 1251599 Finally got my 64 lowered with an ece kit.3.5 drop in front with 2.5 spindles and 1 inch springs and a 5 inch drop in back.I also installed disc brakes and went to 5 lug wheels at the same time.

What year Monte Carlo? How's it ride now? Took out my jeep springs because they were waay too soft.

Hopped up......I was told first gen monte but I'm not too sure! They are soft but I have not put a heavy load in the back yet....if I grab the bedside and pull down
it flexes like a rockcrawler!!!

I'm actually in the process of going thru the front suspension with drop spindles to improve the suspension geometry. Ball joints look like the buttons on a fat man's coat!:lol:

got a kick out of this one btw *****in truck my girl is betty lou and I started out with 3 inch dropped coils that got cut. I ended up with bell tech 73 to 87 c10 3 inch dropped spindles and wow the ride improved.she is dropped 7- 6-1/2 about to get c notched and no problems rubbing lock to lock in front:devil:

just finished adding 2 1/2" spindles and 1" spring. I guess my originals were a bit worn because I only dropped 2 1/2" total. I like the rake to I am not dropping the rear:flagw:
