Definitely need more pics HOOKEDOn1 - your tire carrier looks a bit different from the ones I usually see on the K5's.

Sorry man... the first picture I posted is the only one I have that shows the tire carrier... I've seen a few of them out west... in my documentation from the original owner (I'm only the second owner) it showed as a dealer installed option.

Looks pretty cool with the bright white tire cover I had made for it and two red jerry cans in it... don't know if I'd put it back on if I paint again... but I doubt I'll find another.

You ever gonna put the trim back on? What's the color on yours as well? Mine is dark blue but heavily oxidized and i'd kinda like to see a blazer with the factory dark blue. I can't really tell if yours is the dark blue or the med blue.

EDIT: just read the first post you made about the trim, sorry.

Thanks thunder, I'll try to take some more pics and post em in a new thread tomorrow. It is in pretty good shape since it came from colorado, but it still has a little rust here and there. I would love to come to a blazer meet and I've got a buddy with a 71 blazer in Waco that would definitely want to go too, so let me know.

Yes it is a Kayline, or atleast it looks like my old one:

I cut off the gerrycan baskets to fit my new 35"SSR..w/baskets a bald 33" could squezze in there..
I had to use a bumper from a 73-75 K5, it had the second row of bumper bolts I needed to raise up the lower mount due to my bodylift. Look on the right top of the bumper, sorry this pic sucks, we were on our way to Moab from Cali.
I ended up taking it off, the trails I was taking were just too twisty for that carrier, frame & body mounts so..

1969 Blazer. My dad bought it in 2000 or so. I dove it in high school and loved it. I did the stupid thing and bought a new pickup in 04 and let the blazer sit. I hope to have the blazer ready whenever I buy a house.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

This is my old blazer. It was rusty but complete. Had the factory 350 and a black interior. Owned her for about 5 years and in the last 4 months that I owned her I got her running and driving. Was going to start the metal work but then in December I got laid off of work and sold her to a fellow board member. My finances are back to normal now and I want to get another blazer bad! I will get another blazer, but the next one will be driver ready when I get it. So since I currently don't have a blazer here are pics of my old one.
