I kind of thought that as well but then again I do like the idea of shoulder belts front and rear. Not a fan of the the cloth but could always dye it. Curious to know what he'd take for it.

Here's one in NC that needs some help:

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4157567635.html

Owner (Jeremy) is very nice and cooperative with more pix, etc. It's too much work for a mechanical inept like me but one of you mechanical magicians can resurrect it.

Ain't that the truth!! I'm holding off on buying until after our new house is completed. Hopefully there will be some good candidates out there.

Mine will be done next year I hope, but sadly the price
keeps climbing into no man's land the more I put into it.

Are you gonna sell it once it i done? I don't think I could do that with all you went through to get it.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

Oh trust me I Luv my C5, I am just not in Luv with it.

I almost sold/traded it while down at CTC last month.

It would be emotional for sure, but just didn't imagine
it would take this long to finish on my limited budget.
(Yes, some of that is my fault, but no turning back)

Found this 71 factory 2wd a year or so ago. Spent last winter, spring and part of summer restoring it. Bought from California had it shipped to Kentucky. Was in primer when I bought it but had a nice solid body. I will try to add to the build section as we'll.

I really dislike when people advertise cars and use pictures that have wheels they aren't selling with the car. I'd be curious which set of the three shown in the photos this one comes with.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

They didn't make blazers in 67 or 68. 2wd's weren't built unitl 70 and the majority of blazers were built in 72. That said, I have seen people refer to their Blazers as 67 or 68 when they have changed the front clip. But you should expand your search to include 72.

I have a CAR CORRAL space for my '72 Jimmy 2wd at the Daytona Turkey Run at Daytona Speedway on Thanksgiving weekend. It's listed in the classified section here. I recently added a link to some more detailed pictures. If you go to the show please take a look at the Jimmy. If I'm not around my number will be on the windshield. Even if you're not buying, give me a call, always good to visit with other '67-'72 fans.. and car people in general. I'm Howard.
If you're in the NASCAR garage section up near the front we'll have our retiree org.s '66 Plym. Belvedere City of Miami cop car clone on display. STOP BY & say HI
