I undercoated my cab, not today, but yesterday. :-)

new 15x8 wheels on today... took the trim rings off my 78 for now. Baby moons on order and should be in tomorrow. I already like how it looks!

Painted my engine, put on the new motor mounts and some new heat shields for the plug wires. Waiting for the stainless exhaust manifold bolts to come in, and still have to clean and paint an older set of stock valve covers

I got mine out and drove it all day......YES!!!! Then I ordered a Boyd Aluminum Tank and priced out my A/C

replaced carrier bearing, u-joints, and trans fluid. Next brakes!

I replaced the front brake hoses Sunday and the rear drum cylinders on Saturday. Just a tip: LMC brake hoses are great on length but are not the correct size to fit through the cutouts on the frame brackets of a '71. It took me about an hour of grinding to get them to fit 'OK'.:waah:

Last Friday I started the alternator upgrade on the 71 and finished tonite. I know it shouldn't have took so lone butI couldn't find my tester and bought a new one yesterday and just got checking everything tonite. My son and his new wife is about to drive me nuts. Not including my wife. Hair pulling time.

Baby moons on the new wheels. Damn they were tough to install. WOW. I dont know how I am ever going to get them off.. They are on there TIGHT.

bought new hidden antenna so gonna try to delete external and try amplified style inside. If it works I am going to weld in the antenna hole before painting white portion
