Sunday, I was going to change trim rings and decided I would run it like this for a few days.

It would look good dropped about 2'' front and rear.

I installed a Volante CAI today. And scribed off a piece of clear Lexan to redo the top from the Volante piece into a clear window, just for kicks. I had the piece of Lexan laying around so I figured why not?

Next up? Exhaust!

Last week was a new single DIN CD deck withe the adapter mount that has a small pocket underneath the deck so it doesn't just look like a "wrong-sized" stereo floating there in a flat piece of plastic.

Nate, Google it. You can find all kinds of videos and write ups. I remember see something on this before but never saw any real results till now. I was looking to see if that person would come back with some tips but who knows. It doesn't look like a great process but I definitely could find some uses for it.

Well Paws72, I think it looks a bit sinister the way it sits now, without the trim rings.

Thats got a mean Nascar look to it with the big lettering on the tires. I think a 6" drop would look sweet.

new Fel pro one piece oil pan gasket installed today. hopefully no more leaks. It was a gusher before with the old worn out cork gasket that was in there.

They are the Ridler 695 Chromes in 20x8.5 and 20x10.....the offsets are 0 for both front and rear. I can tuck them all the way and drop it down about 6 inches on the front. I have to roll the rear fenders a bit to allow them to tuck.

0 offset being what backspace?

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

honestly I dont know what the BS is. My wheel specialist went directly to Ridler to get these. Seemed every one was running Boss so I wanted a little different brand. What impressed me more was the a the Regional Rep personally delivered them to us here in Des Moines all the way from Kansas City. I have tried to find the BS for them, but that spec isnt offered or stated. Only thing in chart for Ridler is Offsets.

Thanks guys. I cant decide whether to put the new trim rings on or not. Believe it or not the wife likes it also. And since the mother in law is still alive she has say so also but it has grown on her too.She hasnt driven in about 5 years but she has had the itch to drive here lately. I know if I want her to though with her bad knees. Before and after

I'm pretty sure they are 4.75" BS for the 20x8.5". I think this is the only backspace option they have for that size.

I wonder of I can get one like that painted ? my truck has little chrome , that smooth look really cleans up the front end's looks .

I just walked out to my truck in the fog @ 04:30 and clattered my way to the food store and coffee shop before coming back to listen to this 1904 recording : http://youtu.be/RUI_7JT8jRw on POO - TOOB , it appears not much has changed i the last century ;) .
