On a more serious note, I will never convert mine over to power anything. The lack of power anything, A/C and auto transmission helps ensure that my wife and my kids will never ask for the keys... |

Here is a spot that I cut some rust out of on the backside of the cab

And here it is with the new metal all welded in and ground smooth with some paint on it to protect against rain. This one took quite a while to finish despite of how small it is. I admit this one is not 100% perfect but it's still looks pretty good and since its behind the bed it isn't even visible

Started to assess the rust in the passenger cab corner. It is definitely worse than the drivers side. It has lots of bondo. But the bright side is that once the passenger cab corner/cab support is done the cab will be basically rust free other than one or two spots that I need to finish up

Today I'm moving lots of vehicles and parts around to make room for the donor truck coming tomorrow. I uncovered my seat and realized that I haven't shown you guys it yet. It's the original seat cover from 62, had a couple small rips and tears plus a couple broken springs but I repaired all that a while ago, but it's in pretty good shape for being 54 years old. I will eventually redo it with a new cover and foam but for now it's plenty fine.

Very nice!, I thought you were just going to use an old bucket upside down. ;)

Finished up my front bumper this evening, I previously got all of the bends out of it by using a torch and hammer and beating it for hours but it still wasn't perfect so today I applied a layer of fibreglass filler and sanded it smooth and got it bolted on, I'm pretty happy with the end product.

I also found this chrome badge at a garage sale that I may use on the truck. I will probably mount it on the front or rear bumper or maybe in the interior

Got a lot done today on the fender, this section was really screwed up so I just decided no to use it. The lip has quite a bend to it
