Nothing like a beer truck wreck to draw a crowd.

Plus one I came across. O'connor Moving had just about one of everything.

Both of those photos are great. You can tell how long Oconnors was in business by the years of trucks they owned. And Brian, that's a cool photo but... I see that truck and can't help but think it belongs in a bad horror movie with a way-too-happy clown painted on the side. Tickles is in town. Gather your children and lock the door.

Every time I see these old photos I can't help but wonder if some of these very trucks are owned by our forum members today!

Undoubtedly 1 or 2 are. It would be absolutely awesome if it were possible to know, but it isn't.

Here's an interesting one. Presumably new Chevrolet trucks at what's left of the Roseburg, OR Chevrolet dealership after a truckload of dynamite exploded.

One of many pages of the disaster:

Movie of parts of town after damage (there's at least one AD in the footage):

Brian: that photo looks like the cars are right hand drive - maybe Holdens? so is that Australia?
The Mc Donald's photo looks like 3 Chevys & 2 Mack's - looks like a bulldog on the hood.

Holy crap! Yep, it's stuff like that where the rules get changed alright! "What could go wrong, what's the big deal?" That right there is what can go wrong!

Thanks for posting. That is quite a story from just down the highway. I found the video tours on Utube and watched them all. Now I guess I need to make a trip down I-5.

Only two possibilities: Someone intentionally burned alive OR a utility worker accident.

Since there is a rope or cable around the person's waist with his back to the timber I'd tragically guess the former. This is WAAY beyond tragic racism. This is terrorism, mayhem and murder.

Ugly as human actions can possibly be.
