Thanks it's been hard not to use it for every day use. But I will never find one like it ever again. The best part all the power windows, AC, cruise all work..Its a good driver on the one long trip i take a year with it..

Blackfox, is that paint color a factory '87 color? I'm looking for a dark grey to accent over the silver. If it is do you know the code or color name? Great looking truck by the way!!

Here's my '83 K10 shortbox 4x4 I picked up a couple of weeks ago. It's got a 350/700R4, color matched ralleys, warn lock outs, wrapped in 31.5 BFG's with a slight lift. I got it for a hunting rig, but been driving it everyday since I bought it. It rides like a dang truck, but hey, it's not my accord either! The Honda is sitting in the garage while I'm riding high in my K10 during these North Dakota winters! It's yellow, has some rust but the body is pretty straight for a 30 year old truck. It's not perfect I don't care, it's a tank and it's unique where I live!

In the last week I did the following:

New valve cover rubber gaskets, new transmission filter kit, new tranny fluid, new plugs, new vacuum advance, tightened distributor cap (it was hand loose), adjusted carb, fixed timing, had shop install new 2 1/2 dual exhaust with magnaflow glasspacks and 4" stainless steal tips, new manifold gaskets and donuts, took off running boards and clear old school square style bug shield....

In the near future I plan on...

Purchasing a bull bar with KC lights, taking off Leer Mach topper (I'm going to try and sell it) and installing triple chrome roll bars with KC lights, chrome step up bars, chrome grab bars, tinting windows, chrome fender flares, chrome rocker panels, mud flaps, smoked head light covers, smoked vent window shades, smoked bug shield, any one have these parts for sale???

Should I replaced the factory painted rallys for some other rims? I would need some 15" to fit my new BFG KO's.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for looking.

Try some MT classic with beadlocks....they are old school...but then again so is the truck...they arent very expensive either...look at my old grey truck above when it was on 33s for a reference...they are 15X10

Awesome truck Blackfox looks like it it was in amazingly good shape. Looks great with the the lift and tires. I just love the way a truck looks with a lift and big meaty tires don't get any better then that :D

Here is mine from quite a few years ago after the fine trooper from the mass state police truck team me over. It used to be bigger but had to lower it if I still wanted to drive it. Hence the reason for my username!

Here's the '87 3/4 ton I just bought. Future plans are 4" lift, 33" or 35" tires, maroon or black paint, and drive the wee out of it.
