Sunday, I finished installing all my panels back in the cab. Here's the location of the panel with the control panel for cruise. Easy to get too, should work out good...Jim

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build

A little update guys. Can't tell you anything new on the cruise control, it's on hold. My seat is still at the upholstery shop (6 weeks), so I can't drive the truck. If you remember i said back the first of February I would be building a door panel for a friend. Well, I finally got started on the panels. Here's the link to the build thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=662380 , that I put in Alternate Tinkerings, since there is no interior forum on here. Check it out and let me know what you think...Jim

Jim, I finally made it to the end of this thread.
Don't know what to say....

There are some people on this board I really admire because of their skills and great ideas to solve little and big problems.
I have to say, you are on that list too ;)

Kees, now I don't know what to say. Thank you so much for adding me to your list. I just try to do it right, and the best I can. You are doing some great work also, so we're on the same page....Jim

My 50 roadster pickup build

Jim,
I have spent the last few days going through all 26 pages of your thread. What an incredible build you went through!

I cannot help but wonder how difficult it was for you to cut the top off of your truck! Your attention to detail is off the charts!

I've been to a lot of car shows over the years and, while we can guess at the incredible amount of time and effort it took to arrive at the final product that sits in the parking lot hopefully awaiting the trophy headed its way, we rarely get to see the details of what it took to get it to that point.

Thank you for taking the time to document your journey for us. You are one of the reasons I joined this site and decided to document my build.

Keep up the great work and keep the pictures coming!

Dave

Dave, Thank you for taking the time to check out my build. Appreciate the remarks and praise of my work, but I'm just like you, and amazed at the work performed by people on here, it's off the chart. I've been following your build, and as stated on there, you are doing some great work yourself, and belong with the rest of the highly gifted people. Can't wait to see the next update...Jim
