Re: 1971 c10 stepside
1000+ HP from that 'stock' 5.3L build you were doing !?? :haha: Page 8 - Post #184.
I kinda felt like you'd have to tweak a few minorthings while you had it apart. The 'twins' are going to be sick too. Everything you touch turns to gold my brother. Amazing work. I'm jealous. |

Re: 1971 c10 stepside
Going up this weekend to start it for the first time. I have the exhaust hung (may be too low, might have to go to mid length and tuck them a little more, we'll see) I'll post a video asap.

Re: 1971 c10 stepside
I don't think it will turn those 22's. .. I bet it won't. :D
Raul, such meticulous work. Seriously man, you could work for a high end Rod shop (Foose / Allen Callaway) any of those guys. Have you ever considered opening up a place like that to do drops, fab work, etc. (?) I would imagine in that area you'd have a lot of business. Drops R Us meets Unique Whips kind of place. Just throwing it out there. |

today i persuaded my boy into the garage , the deal was i had to play mw3 with him after !!!!! anyways he finished stripping the inside of the truck , seat doors, fuel tank and lines , meanwhile i finished the hydroboost internal rod, cut it to right lenght gave it a round radius at each end and did a small groove 1/8 wide by 1/16 deep for the plastic washer that holds the spring and put back together ,hand drill on a press stole the show today in my garage ,:lol: tomorrow i will flip the bracket on the unit so that the lines will be at bottom for a cleaner look and do the install
