Thank you 98!

Praise the Lord the surgery did take place yesterday and Cindy did well through the 8 hour procedure. We went from no hope to hope. Now for recovery and healing.

Then I will turn this back into a Suburban build. Apologies for my diversion guys. This has been hard. She is the center of my universe.

Street Rodder posted this a couple of days back and I thought of you. Wanted to wait for good news until I shared and you gave us that .

Feel free to laugh with your wife as she recovers.

Doug,
Nothing to apologize about, all loving husbands feel the same and would do the same. Praise God for prayers that are answered...Jim

Glad all is going good!!! Take all the time you need. That's the thing with a project like this it will be there when you get back to it.

Guys,

Thank you all so much for the positive words, thoughts and prayers! God is good!
I enjoyed the article too!
Recovery is going well so far.
Glad I have the Ipad and hospital wireless to keep up with the builds. They are a great stress reliever for me. If I can't be in my shop I enjoy visiting yours.

Suburban building question...and I haven't searched yet...has anyone seen good info on rebuilding the upper tail gate hinges. Mine need attention and I saw NOS ones on Facebook for $350. Thinking too pricey?

Thanks Robbie! Recovering very quickly and Dr is pleased. I am beyond joyful and again praise the Lord.

Guys, if there is ever a specific dream project you want to build with your wife, don't wait like I did with this Burb.

Your always dropping purls of wisdom on us.....I'm glad Mrs AD is feeling better.

Your right AD. I lost a younger brother at the age of 21 and that changed my outlook on life from then on. Family means so much more now. Money isn't everything. I gave up career opportunities to be closer to family. Like you said, don't wait, life's too short to put dreams off.

Thank you so much Marc. Cindy is better each day and I pray that continues. She is awesome and wait until you see what she can do with wiring and brake lines.

Sid, wow sorry for your loss. Very difficult even if years ago. I made career decisions that hurt career advancement as well and this allowed us to be near family down on our little farm. We have never regretted it. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.

Thinking we need a picture here to perk things up. I am cautiously joyful and very thankful!

Thanks for all the prayers and positive words guys.
