1971 Chevrolet K20 3 door Suburban
Phoenix $35k This is a 1 owner for 50 years 1971 K20 Suburban 3 dr Super Wagon. Bought new at Ray Korte Chevrolet in Scottsdale. Its 1 of 353 3/4 ton K20s with the clamshell doors built in 71. One of 1232 3/4 ton 4wd with tailgate ever built. However its probably more like 1 of 1 or 1of 5 as this rig has some super rare options like cruise control, Rear AC system, and 9 passenger seating. Still has its original upholstery! It also has the super rare factory Draw tite tow package that includes a 45 gallon baffled fuel tank. Yeah thats right 45 gallons. Tank is in perfect clean condtion. Has the green tinted glass and many other options..... https://images.craigslist.org/00H0H_...co_600x450.jpg https://images.craigslist.org/00202_...co_600x450.jpg https://images.craigslist.org/00o0o_...co_600x450.jpg https://images.craigslist.org/00q0q_...co_600x450.jpg https://images.craigslist.org/00N0N_...co_600x450.jpg |

Re: Suburban and panel finds
The drivers door is a ‘72 on that ‘71 Ochre Suburban. That seller has on heck of a “salesman” BS’er ad
|
Re: Suburban and panel finds
I felt like I needed a shower after reading all that B.S.! The door panels are a bit cheesy too.

Long time reader on here, just paid for the membership as it's been an incredible resource as I look for a k series driver to use as a family cruiser. Thanks everyone for sharing their knowledge. I've actually been looking at the one on bat. I know it's a long shot but has anyone seen it in person or have any info on it's condition? Looks like a semi solid driver that I would change the rear doors to a hatch and look for some bench seats to replace the current ones. Lastly what's your take on the values on bat? Thanks |
Re: Suburban and panel finds
I don't believe there are any deals to be had on BAT. Occasionally something will be bought at reasonable price if the market is flooded with that type of vehicle.
So to answer your question my opinion is the prices are high. That being said if your buying over long distance the photographs are usually plentiful and the buyers responsive. So the premium may be worthwhile. |

A red one! 68 K10 327 4 speed $15000. Not mine. No mention of any of the missing parts. Plain Jane radio delete with heavy duty options in red. I'm guessing it was an emergency vehicle of some kind. I still find it hard to believe that trucks in this condition are worth this much.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/c...318859240.html 1970 Chevy suburban C10 2WD The truck runs and drives great! It has a New 400sbc, turbo 350, 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. Converted to disc brakes and 5 lug conversion. Interior is very nice, done by Brian at Pyramid Upholstery, all the gauges work. Paint is nice and presents itself very well. Floors and bottom side are very solid. There is a little rust in the rockers in the door. Not really bad though. Has brand new 22 inch US Mags with less then 200 miles on them. 20,000 obo is my asking price! |

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...320255714.html Low production chevy suburban k10, project truck but it runs and is road worthy. Reliable and starts every time. 350 manual 4sp. PS, PB. Good tires. It was previously used as a hunting and camping truck. Interesting trades considered 🤔 truck is located in Leavenworth. |

Re: Suburban and panel finds
Funny how different parts of the country see these burbs and trucks. I see that I would be spending 3300 dollars on a burb that needs an incredible amount of work (everything), and thousands of dollars invested just to make it halfway decent. Its not all that far from me, a nice scenic drive over the pass.

Re: Suburban and panel finds
The picture is super dark so I’m not positive (plus I’m looking at the tiny picture on my phone) - but is the back seat in the chalky yellow 70/67 there a split? It looks like a 2/3-1/3 seat.
I don’t recall seeing one in these years if that’s what it is. Anyone know if that was available? |

No metal arm rest - not a 67-72 seat

Re: Suburban and panel finds
The second row seat is definitely an early square body second row Burban seat. Same as the one I put in my Burban. No idea on the 3rd row.
