Good afternoon guys, I am hoping to get back at it during my Christmas vacation and prepare to move her back home after the first of the year. Sometimes life just brings us some unexpected hurdles.

I sure hope whatever the event was it didn't set you back too much Larry! Always enjoy seeing your posts and I know how much you want your truck done.
Glad to see you back here and hope that signals that the "event" is in the rear view mirror!

David

Re: 68 project

Unfortunately it is far from being in the rear view mirror and has just begun, not sure where it will take me financially now that I have assumed all our assets including the new car I bought my wife. The unfortunate event is a seperation, my wife walked out on me after 15 years and I just went out and bought the Camaro. So now I have all monthly bills the mortgage and 2 car payments, thank God I make a decent living. So I am not really sure where all this will lead to but it is a lot of major adjustments mentally, physically and financially. But I will pull through in one way or another. I appreciate you alls concern and offer of help and may need it before it is over. :chevy:

Just let me know if I can help somehow. We all need a little help every now and then. Saw the Dixon Custom Cabinetry truck the other day. Got by me before I realized what it was. Take care.

Hey Larry, I'm sorry to hear that man! I'm to far away to just drop by, but if you ever do a planned work day/weekend, you can bet your a$$ I'll drive over and help. I figure after all the dealings we've done, I'm good for a road trip...but I won't go through Atlanta & sure as He77 won"t be stopping at IKEA...;)

I really like your build! I haven’t read the entire thread, can you tell me the paint color and brand/type on it. I love the contrast of colors.

So Grumpy old man dropped off my benchseat yesterday, I have to say I am totally in awe of the craftsmanship he put into my interior. He went above and beyond my expectations. Yes this was the factory bench seat, integrated headrest and a flip down console with cup holders on the bottom.

Damn, that is nice! I like the cup holder idea. My kids are always bringing drinks in the truck and then they want me to hold them!

Yes, visors, dash pad, door panels and armrests are all covered in canvas also :chevy:

Yes I love the drink holder he did that on his own and did a wonderful job hiding them.

Working that canvas was TOUGH , Mounting the hidden cup holders down low helps prevent spills all over your interior ,There's a 12 volt outlet inside the consol to charge your cell phone and since it's a flip forward seat some mesh pockets on the back help with some storage space . I'm glad your happy with it .:chevy:
