The PO put 5 lug shafts in but left the 6 lug in the front. I plan to put the 6 lug shafts back in shortly (I have them! and the rims) and then measure for blocks to get her level. then down the road I plan to do drop spindles and disks in the front and springs in the back. At the end of the day it will be a 2.5/4 or 5 drop... Sense this is a what did you do thread, I also degreased my engine compartment, painter my air cleaner with some paint I had sitting around and Power washed as much of the frame I could get to without getting wet while laying on the ground... seems to have made a difference.... |

Took her out of hibernation and got the headlight relay mod completed. Just have to make the wiring look pretty and change the fuses to circuit breakers.
Realigning the headlights needs to get done now. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |

I slid mine around a few wet turns today...would have fixed the brakes if it was dry out or I had someplace dry to do it...my fronts stopped working on Saturday in a way that I would have sworn was a master cylinder, which is so routine to happen to me that I just made plans to buy one and finish swapping in the rest of the rubber brake parts that I already had (I swapped the rear parts a while back and forgot I never finished the fronts). Well, yesterday I found fluid leaking from the driver's front wheel cylinder...I just may have gotten lucky again and ended up only having parts I already bought replacements for, go out (we'll see tomorrow). btw, I do NOT under any circumstances recommend that anyone drive using the parking brakes alone...well, unless maybe you're driving a 2300 lb Valiant/Nova/Vega/Falcon etc...which our C-10s aren't...and especially never in the wet...and especially not if you see me doing it  |
