My wife and I Painted my C20 emblems. We started painting her cab trim last night.
I realize these are 63 emblems on a 64, I like them better.

Verniski, Your truck looks great! Love the yellow and white and i agree with marke01 a little chrome on the front will look good. What kind of liner did you use on your bed? I am currently working on mine and I am thinking of doing the same thing you did.

I agree it does look nice with the white and yellow. What is the yellow called.

Vernski 12-01-2012 11:28 PM

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I guess you could call it almost yellow but really it is chartreuse witch is light green, it might just be the camera or florescent lights in the shop that makes it look yellow but it is the color that was original the white is called ivory. Thanks for all the nice comments I think it was a good choice and I am well pleased with it. Jake have you got your truck finished I know you were still working on it last I heard. Thanks all....Vernski:gmc2:

Worked on my custom hitch for my '66 panel, finally able to bolt it in after all the measuring, layout, and double checking. Everything fit (thankfully!) as designed. Continued working on the new exhaust system for the truck as well.

Did a little work on my bed this weekend. Put it together and started to work the fenders and inner bed.

Drove to Anaheim and picked up the CPP 3/5 lowering kit (coils and shocks). Installed the rear springs - need new bolts for the shocks (oem were too big). Will finish tomorrow and post pics.

62Barnfind sorry I missed your post the bed liner is from NAPA large spray can. the texture is a little finer than I wanted but looks ok in the end....Vernski:b69:

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Bought a new edelbrock 600. What a difference. I have spent more money trying to rebuild junk for the past four years and all I had to do was buy it and bolt it in. She's never run better. This is now my daily driver. Oh and the portawalls ripped so I won't be buying anymore of those. New pics soon as I can. I did drop the front three inches and I bought an aluminum grill. Also have some new badges coming and a ps mirror.

I had a Z28 cluster in my '95 wagon, so much better than stock... How does it fit in your C10? Is the LT1 running? Looks like a fun start.

Boy do I know that feeling! What are you running for an engine with that 600? What model 600? We have a cammed up 350 in our 1987. Been struggling trying to tweak a couple different carbs. One being a 600 Edelbrock. Still can't get it dialed in. I was also wondering if I just needed a new one.
