I think bigblock72 over on CK5 lives in Utah...

EDIT: Perhaps a roadtrip thread needs to be started on one or both sites. Wouldn't wanna muck up your build thread ;)

Waiting for sheet metal for the other blazer body that's taking up space in the shop, so I figured I could at least paint something.

Core support for both blazers got the gun last night with POR and today with shiny gloss black.

It's sitting 1/2 in and 1/2 out of the sun, so this is the best pic I was able to get.

You know how it goes, you get done 'what' you can 'when' you can...right?

Tough getting a decent picture of something SO black. :chevy:

Do you have a dedicated gun for the POR?

No, I just change the settings on the gun a bit and deal with it being thicker.

**I think the next step with this one should be getting the sound deadener sprayed into the interior.

Then if I can get a good 'productive' weekend, spray color on the firewall & the interior at the same time.

Not looking forward to plumbing the frame, just don't care for doing that part. :barf:

Small change in plans...

Potentially have this unmolested, rust free 69 tub sold, the sale is pending but I'm confident it'll go through.

Stay tuned...might be time to start another build thread.

First coat was a flat finish POR, top coat is SEM gloss black.
