Pic #1. After figuring out the shape I made the template for the 16g sheet.

Pic #2. 16g ready to be cut out.

Pic #3. This was the first mockup of the new lower bar (using 1/2 tube for reference)

looking forward to seeing how you tackle the bezels. I'v seen them on quite a few AD's but nothing of how they actually attached.

99...I found out (the hard way) That the 54 buick bezels are in fact different between the special and the roadmaster.
The roadmaster has longer and taller fenders as well as taller bezels (the set I have) and the doner fenders are the smaller special version so its alot more work. Will end up making mods to the fender sections.

pic 1. This is what I started with (Buick special fenders)

Pic 2 as you can see the bezel overhangs the bucket (Roadmaster bezel) so it needs to be modified.

Pic 3 the start of the new bucket. I cutout the entire stock buick lower section and made my own.
