http://www.earlyclassic.com/ I also used their drop kit/power disk brake kit/ suspension rebuild kit / and their patch panels. Their products are top notch and everything lined up perfect. Many items I bought from other companies took a lot of time to get fitted right. I appreciate all the positive responces I have revieved on my truck. Soon, hopefully, I will start a post build thread. When I started this build I did not have a digital camera so I have some pictures that need scanned and I don't have a scanner. |

Thought you guys might like a pic of the shop truck. It has a 9000 lb. winch on the back for pulling vehicles up on my trailer. It also has louvers on the hood sides which help keep the under hood cool. I got those louvers from a couple of core supports.

mine; be nice, its a work in progress... I just finished hacking the front crossmember from a '79 for the newer suspension, power disc brakes and steering. Does anyone know where I could find a set of 6-lug rotors to fit the '79 spindles? I already have new calipers so all I need is just the rotors; any help would be great. Looking back, I wish I had kept the truck it's original "patina green".

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
i know the some of the 73 to 87s had 6 lug i guess it was the heavy duty ones

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
That was put in in `93 $104.00 at the time, thru a friend then cut to fit, seam down the middle. 5/8 inch cdx plywood, need to redo the plywood, I did not seal it. and change the carraiges bolts to stainless.

It's got it's issues, but it runs, drives and is registered. The problems are mostly cosmetic sheet metal things. I'll post more pictures when I get the correct SD card adaptor for my computer. |
