I like the slots and 70/80 series tires!

Here's one I saw Wednesday night. It has Texas plates so it a ways from home.

Dude definitely had a sense of humor. I'm sorry I didn't get to talk with him. That truck left town shortly after.
This was in the days before cellphone cameras.

After a night shift I went to Costco for gas at 06:45 on a Sunday morning and this GMC pulled up at the other pump. Older guy said he's had it for 31 years.

Looks like a Longhorn, or is that forced perspective?

I haven't seen it around my part of the state. I'd definitely remember something that cool.

Nice looking Rigger's Truck in Reno. I am not familiar with this vintage. Is that a Fan Exhaust on the passenger side fender? I bumped the magnification up to 400%, but still could not discern if it was body damage, a weird graphic design or exhaust fan. It's in about the spot an inside vent would be on a '68.

Thought it was a latch for flip up front clip. I would need t see the other side to be sure.

Definitely possible. Hadn't thought of that.

OK, I believe you. I used to live in the Hollywood Hills -- over half a century ago -- in a hill house overlooking Barham Blvd, and all of greater Downtown Burbank. On rare clear nights, we could see the tiki torches of the Castaways blazing in the night, all the way across the Valley. Never went there, though. Don't think I'd want a Valet messing with my gearshift.
