A perfect example of what a for sale ad should say.

I concur. A no BS ad and I bet you could cut a great deal on that truck. I just about fell over whenI saw all the A/C parts are intact and its also mentioned the A/C blows cold. Great restoration candidate.

I think the '71 Cheyenne may be the one restored by Dave Good (Yote1234). I owned it for a while and put the white-stripe tires and NOS nutty caps on it. Well documented truck!! Build thread below.

Wow, I had no idea that was Dave's truck! I originally found that truck in Vegas and ALMOST bought it from Ken Z, the guy that Dave eventually bought it from. I think I even passed his contact info on to Dave. Looked at it in person in Vegas, and the seller didn't want to even attempt to turn the engine over since it had been sitting so long. You don't want to know what he was willing to sell it for... It was a good deal. This has been my "one that got away" truck since about 2012-ish. Ugh. Sure looks sharp.

EDIT: Nope, sorry about that - false alarm. The one I looked at was a close cousin to what Dave started with (an ochre swb cheyenne super 402)- he apparently bought a different truck. I could've sworn he bought the one we talked about, ha! Here's the "one that got away"... :whine:

know anything about tractors?

just talked to Ross from auction house, said wed 8/14 - thurs 8/15 bidders allowed to preview items and attempt to start [tinker]..

he said the equipment has sat since approx. 2007 when man passed away and the widow does not want to spend any money to get them running..

mice in the buildings, dead batteries, flat tires, etc. but they have spent a little time prepping some of the items..

but more or less buyer beware as they do not have much history info since owner passed away..

so Threerun, if you're planning to be in the area next week and willing to try to start that 186 please let me know..

shipping will be steep but may luck out on a good deal on the tractor and I need a loader on the farm..

I've got two Farmalls and a Ford 1720.

I noticed all that critter damage in that GMC Camper Special.. That totally sucks, but looks like it's getting bid on...

The only date I could possibly make it would be the 15th. If you know the size of battery needed for the 186 I can see if I can rustle one up and see if it turns.
