You must've got a super deal on the donor truck after deducting all the spare change you found.

Thanks, haha yes There was even more change under the seat and floor mat.
Since I have lots of good parts to sell I should easily make my money back.

Nice work and I am digging your energy, it's contagious :metal: the pride you have when you can drive this truck will be over the top.

Great job!!!!!

Thanks, your right about the pride, once I'm done I'll be able to tell everyone that I built it from the ground up. Truly built not bought.

Been spending most of my time lately taking the 78 apart and selling things from it but today I started to tear the suspension apart and clean it up. I got the caliper, rotor and spindle off on one side. Breaking the balljoints loose was quite a struggle but a pickle fork and gear puller used together got the job done. I then cleaned the spindle in the parts cleaner and got it looking pretty with a coat of paint .

Pulled the rear end out today after school. I was on a bit of a time crunch as the truck is getting picked up tommorow but i got it done. The guy that is buying it is giving me more than I paid for it so that means I got all my parts free:metal:

Did you take the master cylinder from the 78 and use it on the 62?

I just picked up a 62 parts truck today to use on my 63 build.

Yes that is what I'm going to do. Since my truck has the hydraulic clutch I'll need to use a separate master cylinder for the clutch

Sold the 78 today, got $300 (what I paid for it) plus 160 for some other parts I sold earlier. So free parts and money seems alright to me :metal:. Plus I can roll the 62 back out in the driveway so I can get back to work on it!:chevy:

Oh and I also went to picknpull today to take advantage of their half priced weekend sale. Picked up a Swaybar for $15, not bad

£15.00 sway are is a massive win.

Could you please weigh that for me, and get me the dimensions, outside length and width.

So that I can figure if one would fit in the mail.

It would fit in a box that is is about 17"x42"x6". It weighs about 16 lbs. this is all just the bar with no brackets or bushings.
