I saw it in my travels for work and snapped a pic...

Working in Chandler or using work as an excuse to cruise Route 66?:metal:

That truck has been sitting in that spot for the last 5 years that I know of. Never thought to snap a pic of it but I eyeballed it everytime I drove by.

Cool! Let us know how it turns out for you.

;)

heck yeah

You must prepare it correctly, and it needs 2 coats. I tried to order it through the web site, and it went through. The web site said nothing about California not being able to order it. Re: Our '66 Short Fleet Build

Hey Joe, great build glad to see you are coming along quite well on your truck. Its real neat to see that your wife and family are behind you on this. I've waited a long time to be able to build my truck and my wife is very understanding but she is going to leave it all to me. I never have been able to see the cab in Noble you saw but one day soon I hope, I did go and look at the cab I have been wanting for about 6-7 years now, (the one I was telling you about bbg and factory air), it has a long bed and excellent tailgate with cab and doors probably will need some floor work and maybe rockers but other than that its great with great glass will possibly buy it real soon ($300). I picked up a couple of good doors and front bed panel at Shawnee swap meet, the doors have been worked already and don't need much work. I wanted to let you know that I visited the Topps Powder Coating shop in Moore and talked to the owner and he told me he could do a bare frame for around $350 and I ask him about other components like "A" frames and crossmembers and tranny crossmember and he said $150. He has the capacity to do something I think he said up to 80' long. I was very impressed and the quality of some work I saw was real good. I didn't know if you were set on the place in Edmond or not just letting you know of a closer place. SEE YA SOON:chevy:

On the California regulations thing, I have the same problem with painting the inside of my boat every year. It’s a primer that "breathes", loves salt water, is tough as nails, gasses out like you wouldn’t believe and, of course - actually works.

When I order this stuff on the web I have it sent to a friend's house in Phoenix and they just UPS (ground) it to me. An extra few days, but worth it - as the California approved version of this product is not worth the value of the can it comes in.

Just say’in.

The order I placed through the web site didn't work. They refunded my Pay Pal.
Mac, I thought of that too. I have friends in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. I'll have to do it that way.

Lookin good Joe......I was just wondering when we were going to see an update from you.

When welding those holes up on your frame be careful as to not weld too much on one side at a time.....that could warp your frame. try to alternate top & bottom, left & right, you want to balance out the shrinkage from the welds.
