got me some sheetmetal and cut some pieces to cover some what 16 holes or so in the fire wall , also fabed some brackets for the ac unit

with the crappy weather we had saturday and sunday I was sure that you were in the mancave doing something. Good job brother..

i got my pulleys and rods today , im stuck waiting for pistons , so for now ill just be storing parts and desperately wait for pistons so i can start the engine , the pulleys i order are from gm performance parts , it comes with everything you see in the piX , i am using a remote reservour for the ps to give it even more of a clean look if anyone is interested is part #19155066 and it retails for around $800.00

thanks , i mean it came with new compressor. alternator ,ps pump brackets pulleys idlers bolts nuts etc , cant beat it , at least in my opinion

Looking forward to your header choice. I think TBSS should fit, but haven't verified. Schoenfelds do, but come close to the a-arm. Are you sure the alternator and compressor will clear your frame?

according to the measurements gm gave me , i should have about half inch of clearance on each side , but then again where have i heard the word bolt on or perfect fit before and it actually did , huummmm, not !!! lol !!! i'll post some measurements later

here are some pix of measurement i had taken before i order tje kit which i am sure most of you guys know these measurements already , also found a pix of the pulley set up measurements , its going to be a tight fit but i know i can make it work

Everything I ordered that was bolt on for my swap was cut and welded on to make it fit the way it needed too. even had to ding a header tube a touch.

I really hope this works out for you- accessories look much better mounted low. Link is to a '69 w/ F-car accessories, which are a similar mounting arrangement, but .75" deeper than yours- fingers crossed!
