Not too bad for my first time doing a complete job. Those hand benders and me are starting to get along....finally! Hope to get the rest of the wire pulled today and start getting the lights hung.

I noticed that sheeting on the inside wall too. My thought was "that wall had to weigh a ton to stand up with all of the sheeting and wrap!" Nice job!

Easier than brake line anyway.

Did someone say micro-manage? On that golf course job, not only did my buddy have us (not me!) lay out the first plate that didn't need any marks, he insists that you use the framing square, mark both sides, make an X from corners to corners using either a Sharpie or a red pencil. That is how he always does it. Does this give you any idea what it would be like to work with him? beyond micro-manage >>
I mark the edge facing up where you can see the marks and he doesn't allow that. On good work I also use a combination square set to the width of the plate to give a square mark. On fast and furious jobs I just eyeball that because after 45 years I can "eyeball" square

My wife and I had Breakfast for dinner. It's cool out and I really really really like bacon and EGGs. I took a pic but it was just a Blur of it being consumed. Bacon, eggs, smashed brown taters and biscuits. Now I'm on the hunt again. I looked for a while but didn't find the contact info so I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I see the all whites egg products in the stores all the time but I can't seem to find out what they do with the Yolks. Don't get me wrong, the whites are OK and important because they hold the yolks so well but I sure would like to have a couple more yolks per white. Someone must be stockpiling the yolks and I want his contact info so I can fulfill my desire. I just can't seem to get enough of that golden (or if I'm lucky enough to get farm fresh eggs, orangish) gooey yummy biscuit sopping delishishness. Please help !!!!

BTW special, I like sausage equally. Mrs Panel has a preference for bacon.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

^ I like the way Mrs. Panel thinks! I loves me some fried bacon, mMmm!

Mrs. Bee and the kids like bacon too but in her efforts to eat healthier, started buying egg whites for herself..

kids and I enjoy the whole egg the way God makes 'em..

I still remember the first time my little princess tried bacon, she got a big grin on her face and said 'I like bacon daddy' proud father moment..

growing up on the farm, my folks built a hen house and started with 100 hens the first year 50/50 English Leghorns and Rhode Island Reds.. second year 100 more of the same ratio.. a hen will lay an egg just about every day pausing of course when they molt around winter time.. talk about eating eggs! it was great, you could bathe in egg yolks if you wanted to.. mom sold a lot to locals for cheap and we ate, baked, and cooked the rest..

we ran cattle, angus and hereford, so we had to sell/trade beef for pork.. but we scored plenty of juicy bacon locally..

glad you enjoyed your breakfast for dinner, now I'm hungry!

We have a deli on the way to work that will make up a bacon egg and cheese or sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a real fried egg.

I have stopped putting the cheese on as my effort to eat healthier.

I only go by there about twice a month.

I work swing shift....so anytime is breakfast time for me.

Doc told me about 6 months ago that I am diabetic so I have been watching my intake pretty good. Went in Monday morning for my check up to see how I have been doing. Lost 17 pounds and blood pressure is the best it has been in for a very long time.

Larry, my doc told me I can eat all the cheese I want. But no more gravy .... My favorite!

The gal I'm working for now has laying hens and gives me eggs. They are various colors and sizes. Do they make cartons with various sizes?

So other Larry cut the cheeze, ay?

good job dustmaker! keep up the good work!

I also work swings.. dieting is tough for me.. thankfully I'm only about 25lbs over and took about 10 years to get here LoL..

Mrs. Bee is a lean mean fightin' machine 10 years my younger.. gonna have to do something to reverse my trend but haven't decided what I could do without..

Re: My Facetruck thread.

^ LoL, I remember moms rule for the regular egg buyers, bring a carton.. we had stacks of various sorts of paper, foam, etc. long time ago but do remember mom had her favorite types of cartons.. seems our eggs were fairly consistent but they did vary some.. must have been mostly extra large cartons and smaller ones fit as well? over 30 years ago when I was a young teen.. I do remember our hens could lay some whoppers though!

cool you have fresh eggs regularly, I really miss that rich flavor.. our hens ate very well and made fantastic eggs..

funny thing I didn't mention.. most of the hens layed in the tin hutches in the coop.. but in the long summer days when they spent more time outside, some would lay wherever they happened to be.. planters, bushes, tractors seats, patio chairs, lol.. and gathering eggs in the hutches was always exciting, some wanted only empty bins, others would sit on 3 eggs and lay theirs.. and some didn't mind a gentle reach under to grab eggs, others all hell break loose! they're fun critters to raise.. chickens are legal in my city, thinking about building a small coop for a few laying hens for my kids to experience.. and full well plan to raise some hens when I retire back on the family farm..

I went by Hardees (Carl's Jr.) this morning and had a biscuit and gravy. I first cut back to once a week, now once a month.

My kids have a chicken coop and have fresh eggs.

They raise their own beef, and eat wild pork, venison and turkey.

The end will be when you die of course...

Larry about Hardees.
They have the best biscuits around here. I love em. They come with a side benefit too. Any time I have breakfast from there I can depend on having to make a sudden trip to the toilet within 15 to 20 minutes after having ate there. Not a good thing for traveling though. It must be the oil they use or something. It's been doing me that way for years so I don't eat there often. Need a quick cleanout? Try Hardees.

Cut back on that delicious stuff now so you can keep enjoying it later. I hope I am never told to stop eating any of the food I love.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

Our hobby has been traveling looking for trucks and parts for the last couple of years. But part of the trips was eating ice cream at every ma and pa place we could find! I think that had a little to do with my issues. But the info you can get at an ice cream parlor is almost worth it! We found out about more trucks talking to older folks than driving around looking :)

Re: My Facetruck thread.

Ice cream and trucks just go together. I don't have to go far for that

Or so I'm told. That last frozen custard place is in Carlisle, PA. I try to stop by on my way out of town. Can't get my buddies to want to go. They say beer and ice cream don't mix? Some folks just weren't raised right

Killer Bee,

where do you get the Tillamoo Cheese?

Tillamook Cheese is what it should be! That's where my wife grew up, and they have the famous Tillamook Cheese factory there!
