I'd heard of these
Dagmar bumpers
Postwar Cadillacs began sporting missile pointed bumper elements with their 1946 models. Beginning with the 1951 models, stylists began lifting these bumper guards up into the grille work, however by 1953 their shape and detail began to take on a bullet motif with the tips of the element being scored in the manner in which a bullet casing is shaped

Stout looking pieces, Mike. That sway bay is something else too - very cool piece.

I am very impressed with the quality / thickness and overall look (the way they machine the ends) and that they are actual threaded links bars.. TOP NOTCH...and that front torsion sway bar is just the cat's meowwww!

was going to do 22x12's but there is only 1 tire that will work on them so I am going to do 22x10's with 4 inch backspace

Slick! Have you thought of running the sway bar through the framerail, instead of below?

I thought Square peg was going to be the tow vehicle for Cloud 9? Did priorities change when you decided to make the ride height 6 inches off the ground? :)

67cheby 04-04-2013 02:37 PM

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

LOL...ride height is 4 inches...6 is full lift !

My bad  I think that answers my question too, though. I imagine you'd be dragging something serious with a trailer hooked up behind.

yep...that's pretty AWESOME !

Anyone junking a square body frame ? I could use a set of the forward cab mounts off the frame ??

watahyahknow 04-05-2013 12:35 PM

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

thats dragnasty hes the instigator of the lowered dually scene and of the 22,5 inch truck rims that he machined down a little so 22 inch car tires would fit around them
i have a set of those rims from the former owner of dragnasty
going that low with those rims on an old style chevy you need to cut out the inner fenders part of the firewall and remove the original heater , looks cool though
