I suppose so. This one they swapped out the valve covers, too. Weird...

I just had to share this jewel that I saw tonight while browsing on "The bay". ONLY $325.95 I'm in shock :jdp:

General Motors Dash Instrument Gauge Cluster. This is a great looking dash Instrument cluster that will make a great replacement for your vehicle. General Motors OEM 1967-1972 Chevrolet GMC Dash Instrument Gauge Cluster with factory wiring pigtail 4-5” Fits: Pickup Truck, Blazer, Jimmy, Suburban . Comes with factory wiring pigtails. Dash is in Used condition, and has had some slight restorations done. First it was disassembled and thoroughly cleaned, all gauges were wiped clean and brought back to life as shown in the added pictures. The lens was hand block sanded using 800-2500 grit media. Re-washed and buffed with optical grade compounds, then polished via orbital buffer with finishing wax with UV protection. There may be some very light scratches, or imperfections but overall really nice. The outer trim was repainted a few years back and may have some light scratches on chips present. The light bulbs, and sockets were removed and bench tested, and either cleaned reinstalled or replaced with new. The gauges were also bench tested, speedometer was operated with drill to ensure needle deflection. That being said any and all electronic items are sold as is where is with no returns or refunds. Make sure you ask any and all questions you have and check each added pictures along with utilizing the zoom feature to make sure that this piece will fit your make and model. You are responsible for making sure this is the part you need, all sales are final.

At first I thought is was a Cyrillic lens. They didn't mention if they used a calibrated drill for the speedo test.

Grind him a little. The AC compressor belt is missing. ;)

Other than that, it's a really nice looking truck!

And the upper bracket on the rear of the compressor. You just can't get those anymore...

I've seen this truck before I think it is a good resto candidate. It is an original 72 swb gmc highlander. I've been through the" post your highlander" thread of close to 60 pages and there is no other shortbed gmc highlander. Im sure this guy is negociable. Im pretty sure it is grey plaid. It does have the spid.

Oddball. Factory or aftermarket set up on this short wheelbase C20?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

Were there ever any SWB 3/4T trucks produced? Seems like I saw that information somewhere on here, but it's an uncertain memory so I could be wrong. Personally, I'd not want a SWB 3/4T. Talk about a rough ride!

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

No swb 3/4 ton trucks. Frame was cut.

looks like a c30 dually (outer duals missing) on a shorter than shortbox frame to me..

if factory, possibly a military or commercial contract for special application?

would be interesting to know what's going on there..

but either way, that cab and front clip (depending what's hiding underneath) may be worth the asking price alone..

I was thinking the same on cab/clip alone might be worth it.

Looking at the pics, it appears the axle was moved forward on the frame (and tail end of frame cut) since it looks like the axle is placed under a low point in the frame. Who knows, but it does appear 'modified' ... :)

That was my guess as well. I also thought possibly something at an airport for moving planes?
