thought about going to the hatchery, but they probably remember dawg from the last time........5 or 6 yrs ago he somehow got threw the bird nets on the juvenile steelhead tank and was having a field day. had to even get one of the staff to help lift diesel out of the tank...

these 2 full bore Can-Am Wildcats passed me at about 50, and the (!??!) chevy astro van ahead of me....could hear him scrappin' and draggin' threw all the cross ditches. when i passed him in a bit, he gave me a budweiser wave...:lol:

Took the rig out for probably the last trip of the season. A quick overnight fishing trip to the mountains about an hour from home.

You can barely see the truck hidden in this picture. Not another sole at this lake the entire time. The road up there is pretty rough. Just rough enough to keep most people out but not a full-on lockers and winches type trail

Trout! Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, etc. Trout love cold water. This is usually the best time of the year to catch them but not this time.
