Oh, I kinda figured it was some sort of GM equipment from a serial number. But, just too darn lazy to look it up. LOL!!

Super score on the LS engine. Hope you didn't beat up your knuckles too bad getting it out:)
Looking forward to this install. |

Can't wait to watch the new heart get installed.
Hopefully there will be a detailed installation in this build thread... (hint, hint) :D |

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Nice looking motor, I wanted to do an LS Swap too but the cost of it and the lack of knowledge on my part I decided to go Big Block. Can't wait to see how it turns out for you.

So, what led me to the 'yard where I happened upon the engine, was the search for a pair of pigtails to hook up my latest upgrade. I blatantly stole this idea from 67cheby, who blatantly stole it from another member  They are Jeep Wrangler JK light housings that take an H13(9008) bulb. I mocked one up today to see how it looks. I kinda like it, but then it kinda looks bugeyed, too... Opinions?

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
The bulb does have a little buggy appeal but overall looks/fits well.
I'm curious to see the light quality once it's been hooked up. I have a feeling an LS project will be in my future and not on my '69. :D Can't wait to watch yours come together. |
Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
I like it! Cant wait for more

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
I have just spent the last 2 hours reading this build, and I can say very cool the way you were able to build and keep it from being in a million pieces.
