I'm really liking the wood you're going to use. Think it will look great with the white accents you've got on Shifted.

Thanks! We started the process to finish the bed wood. Since there are 3 separate steps that need to dry, it will probably be sometime next week before we are finished. I think it' going to look really good when all is said and done, :metal:.

Making some progress:
battery is mounted, will start wiring this weekend
brake lines are complete, just need to bleed them
first step on the bed wood is complete, 2 more to go
pulled the front clip back off to weld up the filler pieces for the front tubs and to start the finishing process under the hood. when I put the clip back on, it should be the last time, :metal:. So I'm really down to a bunch of tedious stuff that won't prove picture worthy, but at least the I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, :D. Merry Christmas!

Truck looks great I'm assuming that your batter will have remote jumpers? If so where?

Looking really good Rob! The bed wood complements the body color well.

Thanks, Hope you had a great one also, :metal:.

Productive day yesterday: all the brake lines are done, I just need to bleed them. Fuel lines are done, ready for some petrol. Front filler pieces are welded in and painted, just need to scuff and paint the front tubs. All fluids and filters have been changed. Battery is mounted. Cleaned up the front clip while I was at it...:D. I'm almost ready to jump on the wiring, I have a few more things I want to knock out first and then let the fun begin......

Thanks for the info! That's some slick work! I'm really digging it!

I see you slid in the front fender mod on the sly too! Looks good from where I sit...did it turn out like you hoped?

No problem. Hope it helps. I think the fender mod came out pretty well. It was a lot of work, but the finished product is worth it.

Battery is mounted and connected (Luckily Advanced Auto sells 2 AWG cable by the foot, :metal:) Rear airlines are plumbed. Acccuair is wired and working. The rear of the truck is pretty much done except for installing the bed wood and rear ChubTubz. I plan on working on the Vintage Air setup today. Next will be the complete AAW body wiring, the BP automotive fuel injection wiring and the VHX Dakota Digital gauges. Once that's wrapped up, I plan on going over the whole truck and then it will be time to get the truck ready to run......:D.

I got the booster from Curt Hill @ Hill's Rod & Custom. I think it is similar to the booster on a 68-70 Mustang.

Keith, I see you are back after selling your last project 6 months ago. What you got in the works? You need to start a build thread...:smoke:
