https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto...026045021.html

$1,500

1977 c10 Chevy truck 2 door, 8' utility bet with lock boxes with key. straight 6 motor with 77 565 original miles. new tiers. good truck, only reason I'm selling it is I have 3 trucks.

That's almost a dead ringer for the one my dad had back in the day with the exception of his was a K20 model. I wonder if this one is a 292 also.

Didn't know those high-back bucket seats were called 'tiers'.

I have to agree with you on this one. Just a lot more honest looking truck where what you see is most likely what you get.

The pics have been changed to show a newer truck! They were wrong at first.

Not Craig's List but a really nice truck anyway.

I wonder how many disappointed callers they got?

That’s the way it works. I hope it finds another happy owner soon. Such a fantastic piece of history.

It’s funny to spend all that money and then just turn around and sell it

This one doesn't look too bad except I don't care for yellow, the black wheels gotta go, and I hope the rest of the "resent" restoration was done better than the wiring under the hood.

If I were still in the market I'd probably have take a look at it for sure.

Yes it is! I am following this one. Price is still reasonable especially when you consider all that has been done.

I enjoyed it for 7 years, made a nice profit and bought more trucks :)

I didn't call, but I sure wanted to buy that, when it looked like a '70. If I had driven 6 hours to see it, I'd have been pretty annoyed to say the least. I would have bought it before even telling the wife I was going to, since the iron was hot to strike. I'm waiting for one to show up nearer to me. I guess I'd better tell her that if I find a deal like that, I'm not going to waste time calling her first. Don't really want a service body, but that can be handled.

If that truck was closer I'd buy it just for the speed warning dash!

I like seeing the trucks in this thread. If I had room for more trucks I'd get one like that.
