Very busy weekend... Friday evening went and picked up a loaner trailer and loaded her up. Left to my buddy Abe's shop in Moriarty at 6am Saturday morning. About 50 miles east of Albuquerque... :ito:

After a Bud Light break to let the primer dry, we did a final sanding/cleaning... and the most fun part began. We used every bit of daylight God gave us on Saturday...and energy. I left Moriarty back to Albuquerque around 8:30pm. The best Cinco de Mayo ever.... :ito::chevy::ito::metal:

Sunday morning I headed back to Moriarty with the intentions of loading up the truck and bringing her back home. The paint was still a little too soft for us to manhandle the bed back in place. She stayed in the shop... I was able to put some pretty stuff back on though.

Meanwhile, up in Santa Fe... my buddy Danny ("D-Ray") was busy striping away on the tailgate. Here's a pic of the tailgate of my truck back in 1982, when it was my brother's truck... what I had him model it after. :) I'm VERY HAPPY!!!! :metal:

Yes they are. I may redo the exhaust after a while. Those tips are showing some age and the cherry bombs are getting pretty burnt out.
