Re: Lets see your garage

Here's my before shot. The Jeep and Chevy live together in the garage during the winter for the most part. I do kick the Jeep out and put the cover on it when I'm working on the Chevy though.

Last year, I re-did the garage to give me a little more breathing room when both rigs are in it. It also made it nicer to work on either one since I actually gained quite a bit of room by losing my cabinets.

I am loving the pics. We have started to clean our house out to get ready to sell. The problem is, my budget vs my wives budget. Not sure I will be able to get what I want. A pole barn with a lift. Will see what happens

Here is my new garage. Full loft. Not finished yet. But getting there.

I have a small lot in my town. So I maximized space by going taller.

Now that’s just mean. Why do you have to come off like that? A little jealous right here. Looks great

Nice! Electric radiant in-floor heat I assume. How does it do in our winters? Must be nice to stand on.

Yes it's just a 8 gallon hot water tank with a 3000 watt element . I keep it at 15 Celsius or 60 f. No problem keeping it warm even with minus 30 . It's quiet and comfy

Curious as to how many square feet you’re heating? Does it use a lot of power? Thanks

MIne is Sooooooooooooooooooo far from clean. Every time I thing I get someone close to clean, things start appearing or getting laid everywhere. I need to fix my habits I guess.

My shop has been ignored this winter, but my work truck is clean.

We have a guy that details these for $125 bucks.

It's 30x32. 960 sq. ft. R25 wall insulation and r40 ceiling. Our power rates are reasonable here , so even if it ran 24 hours straight with the 3000 watt element you can figure how much a month. Mine might run 60-80 percent of the time depending on how cold it is. I think the biggest factor is how well it's insulated
