I'm diggin that sucker more and more. How good is the liftgate? Shake it and see if you hear rust rattling around inside it.

Cool, it still has special paint though :)

Thanks! I am to, Hopefully clean up and install some new seals on these axles soon. Swap them in so I actually feel comfortable driving the damn thing and enjoy it. Might take a little longer than it should. I want to lift it at the same time and the 68s are a bit tricky so I got to do some research. I want to do it right. I have some 16x8 "rally" wheels I will probably run after the 3/4 swap

The liftgate is solid man, I didn't see any signs of rust or even close to it but I'll shake it good just for you.

I paid 2,000 for it less than a month ago so I would want the same. If not I will just drive it and keep it or give it to my 17 year old brother.

I really like the way it sits as is. That was a steal. I'm glad I didn't see it, it would be in my driveway as well. Keep us posted on your progress-nice to see you back.

Its nice but it needs to LOOK like a 4x4. If I am swapping the axles I might as well throw some springs on it while its all apart.

thanks man I will start a build thread once I have all the parts for the first stage.

Awesome burb!

Hey can you take some detailed photo's of the seat covers for me?

I am gonna have to have a set of three made from scratch, since no one makes 67/68 pattern OEM covers for the burbs. I have a source for the fabric and vinyl now, so that is no longer a problem.

I'm interested in close ups of the fabric insert, the back panels, and the best close up you can get of the vinyl grain.

Thanks!

Oh, if you find a company that makes new springs for this baby then let me know who it is! I can't find any of the usual companies that make 67/68 leafs, so I had to have my originals re-arched and I'd be interested in a set of new ones.

Thanks everyone I got it lifted with a dana 60 under the front. Swapping in 454 tbi/th400/np205 from an 87 1 ton I have a build thread which I haven't updated in forever also. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=312252

I bought a house so priorities have changed. Plus been super busy with my other passion of Strongman competitions.

I plan on towing it out to my new house and getting back to working on it next month!
