Not stock ones "restofied" as nice as the truck in question (around here anyway). Most of the shortbeds you see that have been revived are modified to some extent, and absolutely nothing wrong with that approach either. Sure there are plenty of 3/4 ton beaters running around, I'll grant you that.

It's funny how quite a few expressed the same thoughts I put forth (1/3 anyway), I just quantified them, and low and behold look who chimes in. I thought jorgensonsc was conducting a poll, not a pissing match. Alas, opinions are as they say like a__holes...and some are bigger than others ;) .

At first I thought you misspelled "RUSTofied" in reference to your "stock" trucks... but then realized you were talking about one that actually had been restored.

You didn't quantify them so much as add your self-aggrandizing disdain for differing opinions... something, that should be noted, you do quite well.

I simply made an arguement based on the unscientific poll results that lowering doesn't always differentiate. "self-aggrandizing disdain for differing opinions" would be expressed more overtly in a manner similar to your and Jason's attacks of said opinion.

leave it...IMO and drop the money into a supercharger or engine pieces. Pretty doesn't make it go fast!

I'd say leave it alone, but it looks like the OEM's are losing to the drops 2:1. If you're bored there's a lot of old trucks out there in need of restoration. Just my 2 cents.
