Bgood, I don't remember exactly, but it was less than1260, I assure you. The people at V.A. are very helpful, ask all the right questions, and therefore you get ......... the right parts. All I did other than install the parts was powdercoat the brackets and have it charged up when done.

Thanks for the information, guys.

Does anyone have pictures of the after markert vents in or under the dash?

I just finished the install (yet to charge the system w\134a) and can't get you any pics BUT in my opinion I wouldn't get the indash "Ball" vents. They seem a little cheesy as they are about 1/2 the diameter of factory originals...again just my opinion. They may increase air flow velocity and create a cooler blast of air but I may convert mine to OEM equipment. ;)

I didn't particularly like the ball vents either, that is why I chose the factory style vents. If I had any more volocity coming out of my vents on high, I wouldn't be able to see:)

Well as if I did'nt have enough problems :banghead: with this system. Three days, count 'em, 3 before I am ready to leave for Texas the damn compressor decides to leave it's innards and deposit them throughout the system!! Seems that the Sanden compressor decided to let go of one of the 5 connecting rods at the attaching point on the recip. plate and hammered the thing to pieces. Now I have to flush, flush, flush--vacuum, vacuum, vacuum and hopefully get it running before Thursday. On a good note and a shot in the arm for Old Air, after searching extensively here in th L.A. area for a replacement compressor with no luck I did finally call Old Air and they will "UPS red" me a new compressor and replacement drier and "O" rings for much cheaper that I could have purchased one locally! GOt to love those Texans :D All things considered it's a good thing it happened now instead of in the middle of Arizona!
