Me too, on both accounts. I don't know If I qualify as "old school" (I am 32), but I dig the road you are going down.

I say WLO depends on the ride, too. I suspect there is a reason some tires don't have white letters.

i think it's because of the trend of bigger diameter tire's just don't have the sidewall height to print on.you won't see many white letter's on anything above 17inch.i think bfg prints on their 17 inch t/a's all terrain.then that's about it. those slot's that cornfed's talking about gotta go wlo.no doubt.
