This question was answered on the first response. But your disagreeing and then re-asking the question has this thread going in circles for three pages now.

Well seeing as how none of you thought about what I had replied I will say this. I.E. I asked for satin paint, a guy said add a little gloss to flat paint or something to that effect. I already knew that so I told him no.

I had said in this thread that some of those parts arent rare. I mean that not everything is reproduced aftermarket, so what isnt is very rare/valuable. Now would someone like to tell me some of those things without misinterpreting everything I have said. Thank you.

Wow

Ok if I am interpreting you right, stuff that not readily avaliable on the aftermarket is what you are after. these are a few I think, and if not I will be corrected. Long bed Fleet sides, Twist Tow Hooks, Heater and radio delete plates.

Factory AM/FM is super hard to find. I've never seen one in person, just pics on here.
I'd also add manual trans tilt columns, those are scarce too.

Nice to see the choke delete is being re-popped.

Thirdstreetito,Go out and educate yourself on these trucks as much as the many who have replied. Then, come back and tell us what`s rare. We`d love to know and promise not to ridicule your reply.
BTW,I see a couple dozen or more non-reproduced AND rare parts listed in all these replies.A pretty productive thread,so far,if you want see it.

I actually specialize in gathering just these parts you ask about. For many years, when I go to a swap meet or junkyard, what I look for are rare parts in great or restorable condition that aren`t reproduced.I have quite a list of inventory and know just about any part I don`t yet have. But,I really don`t feel like listing it in this particular thread.

I suggest you put some effort in bettering how you come across in print.I truly believe you`re just as cool of a guy as any other here. But,you seem to rub me the wrong way with about everything I`ve noticed you`ve posted.I doubt that`s your intention. But,you know what I`m talking about. There`s a time and place for certain comments.Sometimes never really a good time or place and best to keep mouth shut. We`re all buddies on here and want to welcome you in.So,take a look at your posts before entering and it should help out alot.I think you`ll be glad you did.

Good call!!! If anyone knows where a fully functional one is (that I can buy) please let me know! I finally found a great looking dash badge to replace my lost one, but I also need the cable...and knowledge on how to repair!
