Re: post you interior pics
Thanks - as a teenager I had a '57 with the interior that color(s).
I bought a '62 in 1989, and repainted interior the same, but sold it in '93 or '94 (kids, etc...) So I bought this one in August, and there was never a question about what color combo it would have. |
Re: post you interior pics
Looks great, love the color combo also.Whatkind of paint did you use, bc cc or single stage? Trying to figure out how you would color sand and buff base clear without burning through with all the body lines on the interior.

Re: post you interior pics
Single stage Ful Cryl from O'Reilly's Auto. I'm no painter, and this truck will be [I]used[I], so simpler, cheaper is better. For the outside I plan on a bc/cc. But that's waaaay down the road.

It's a 1966 Chevrolet Custom Fleetside Pickup Jet black with red highlights and custom hood stripe. This truck has been fitted with 2002 Camaro components to include a fuel injected 5.7L / 310hp LS1 V-8, 4L60E automatic transmission, Camaro dash, bucket seats and center console, front suspension, and rear end. Fully optioned out with Power Disc Brakes, Power steering, Air Conditioning, Dual exhaust with XLerator mufflers, Leather interior, Dual air bags, Cruise control, Tilt steering, Power windows, Power locks, Power seats, Power remote side mirror, Day/night rear view mirror, AM/FM cassette radio, and 16" Chrome 5-star Camaro wheels. The 2" drop spindles, blacked out grill, and rear roll pans really finish this truck out nicely. 1966 Chevy truck that drives and handles like a late model Camaro. http://www.aeclassiccars.com/OnlineC...bum/index.html http://www.aeclassiccars.com/OnlineC.../slides/04.JPG http://www.aeclassiccars.com/OnlineC.../slides/07.JPG http://www.aeclassiccars.com/OnlineC...slides/07a.JPG http://www.aeclassiccars.com/OnlineC...slides/07b.JPG http://www.aeclassiccars.com/OnlineC.../slides/08.JPG |
Re: post you interior pics
Thanks for the details, I like how the seats sink into the back of the cab.

It is cool!

Re: post you interior pics
This is my most current since my picture disappeared. Not too beautiful, but it works for a cheap craigslist seat that happened to match the color of my truck.
