Did you have to raise your panhard bar or was it just due to the notch? Looks like a stripe up your pumpkin, but hard to tell. My 'burb is rubbing due to the bags and stock set-up. Shortened bar, however.

Thought you might like these too.. The mirror you see was my late grandfathers.. He put all those stickers on it back in the 60's. I have had it ever since I was little boy.. Also I collect Papst stuff.. These bar lights/old neon's were found in an old closed bar... I am thinking they are from the late 60's Early 70's.. Also the Papst poster with the ram on it is from the 60's.. Crazy stuff.. Think I have a PBR problem????

Here is what we did with the Pan hard bar.. No more rubbing anymore.. Sorry the pic angles are kinda bad.. I did not have time to jack it up.. I had to try to slide my arm underneath to grab a quick few..

That's cool! I tried that on the knobs in my '62 but the didn't fit... My woman has a 2008 Malibu and we some PBR caps snapped on to the heater/AC controls.

That is some cool stuff, and the family history makes it even cooler

That is a high hump.....original floor shift? High hump for sure. If you ever see a low hump you'll laugh. They're practically flat.

Re: 66 Short step "Trad Rod" build, A Pabst Blue ribbon theme

That air cleaner is BADA$$$!!! I love it!! I believe that is a high hump floor. The low humps only come up a couple inches and came in trucks that were either factory automatic or three on the tree.

I love the sh*t out of that truck... Something about the Blue with the black wheels that grabs me... Now call Nate and slide a Dropmember under it!! Makes it drive like a new truck..

bird7263 02-18-2009 06:52 PM

Re: 66 Short step "Trad Rod" build, A Pabst Blue ribbon theme

Some day I might throw a dropmember under it.. But I have a kid on the way that will be here in May.. So money is real tight.. For right now the only thing I have to do is new carpet and lay some dynamat down to quiet up the cab for lil girl.

I got everything working, Every gage, cig lighter, horn, wipers, heater.. Everything on this truck works like new.. This a total comfortable driver..

protrash64 02-18-2009 06:58 PM

Re: 66 Short step "Trad Rod" build, A Pabst Blue ribbon theme

Hey dude, unless you already have the Dynamat, check out Tony's thread with the sound proof stuff he used....from Lowes and about 1/8th of the price:lol:....maybe a 1/4.

I think its the BCKNBLK thread.
